The Double VORTEX Line 80 mm is a high-performance, single-piece side-cheek block engineered to deliver an exceptional weight-to-working-load ratio. With its minimalist and weight-optimized design, it is built for demanding sailing applications, including mainsheet systems, mast blocks, vang systems, and other critical onboard controls. Its versatile architecture makes it ideal for everything from performance racing boats to larger keelboats.
Crafted from marine-grade anodized aluminum, both the block body and sheaves offer outstanding strength, low weight, and superior resistance to corrosion in harsh marine environments.
At the heart of the VORTEX Line is a completely new bearing technology, fully developed in-house by PolarWave. Combining precision PEEK roller bearings with zirconia ceramic side elements, this advanced system minimizes friction under axial loads, delivering exceptionally smooth and efficient performance under high loads.
Rated for a working load of tons and a breaking load of tons, the Double VORTEX Line 80 mm is designed to perform with confidence in the most demanding conditions.
A specially engineered stainless steel rivet forms the core of the system, designed to withstand extreme forces while ensuring long-term reliability and durability.
Engineered for sailors who demand uncompromising performance, precision, and efficiency, the Double VORTEX Line 80 mm delivers when it matters most.
